Cookie Policy

This page lists the cookies and browser storage our site uses. We keep the list short on purpose: everything below is needed to make the site work.

Who sets these

Gumbudii is a trading name of Gumbudii Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14826649. Registered office: Alpha Works, Alpha Tower, Suffolk Street Queensway, Birmingham, B1 1TT, United Kingdom

Questions about this policy: team@gumbudii.com.

Strictly necessary

  • Sign-in session — keeps you logged in and secures requests to your account. Stored by our authentication provider in your browser and cleared when you sign out.
  • Basket — remembers the kit you have added before you send a request. Stays in your browser until you check out or clear it.
  • Security — short-lived values used to protect forms and verify that requests come from your session.

These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in and booking. Clearing your browser storage signs you out and empties your basket.

Payment and identity

When you pay or complete an identity check, Stripe sets its own cookies inside its hosted checkout and verification flow. These are controlled by Stripe and are used for fraud prevention and to keep that flow working. They are set on Stripe's own pages, not ours.

What we do not use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • Cross-site tracking or data sold to third parties.
  • Social media tracking pixels.
  • Third-party analytics profiling you across other websites.

Because we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the service you asked for, we do not ask for consent to set them. If that ever changes, we will ask first.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you from signing in or completing a booking. For anything else, see our Privacy Notice or contact support.

Clauses still awaiting legal review

  • Confirmation that every item above is genuinely "strictly necessary", so that no consent banner is required.
  • This list must be re-checked whenever a new third-party script, analytics tool or payment widget is added.
Legal review required. The "no consent needed" position must be confirmed by a qualified UK adviser before public launch.
